Job Summary
Operations & Project Coordinator (Fire Protection & Building Services) supports the Operations Manager with day-to-day operational coordination, scheduling work plans and technician allocations, procurement support, and maintaining accurate records across job management systems (notably Simpro and Xero). Responsibilities include creating and maintaining schedules, monitoring progress to meet deadlines, coordinating resources across multiple projects, managing digital project files and customer data, preparing quotations, and supporting process improvements for workflow consistency. Requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, supplier coordination, independent work capability, and ability to operate in a fast-paced service environment. 100% remote work under an Independent Contractor Agreement with NZ business hours; experience with procurement, documentation, and basic accounting systems is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in operations coordination, project administration, service scheduling, or a similar role.
