Job Summary
Operations and Policy Analyst 2, EHR Technical Analyst for Salem-based Health Services focusing on EHR system testing and change delivery. Works with Health Services administration, the EHR system vendor, and the DOC IT team to determine change requests, develop and maintain testing plans, oversee test execution, troubleshoot, and resolve defects. Requires experience or a Bachelor's degree with two additional years of analytical/planning work, plus experience testing computer systems and strong analytical/problem-solving skills. May involve overnight and weekend travel to DOC facilities across Oregon. Represents AFSCME; CJIS background checks and compliance with PREA and Equal Opportunity standards are part of the process. The role is eligible for various benefits and may be based at multiple DOC locations statewide; no visa sponsorship offered.
Required Qualifications
- Five years of experience or Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and two years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work
- Experience testing computer systems (such as validating software against business requirements)
- Willingness to travel and work within Health Services/EHR context
- Ability to develop and maintain testing plans for EHR system changes and oversee test execution
- Collaboration with Health Services administration, EHR vendor, and IT teams
