Operations and Maintenance Technician (Cherokee, TX)

Job Summary
Coordinate and perform electrical, mechanical, and communications repair and maintenance at Cherokee Pump Station; respond to on-call emergencies and support pipeline construction and maintenance activities; read and understand station flow and pipeline alignment drawings; perform meter proving, calibrations, batch changes, and sampling of crude oils and natural gas liquids; assist in setting up equipment and pipeline for inspection and testing; maintain safety standards and document findings; require ability to travel to various sites, operate tools, and use Microsoft Office; participate in required training and DOT regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must be willing and able to attend/complete required training courses
- Must be willing and able to work in small team environments
- Must be willing and able to work in various locations, indoors and outdoors, in varying weather conditions and temperatures
- Knowledge of emergency response procedures and DOT motor carrier regulations
- Ability to plan daily work activities in accordance with established Company and Regulatory procedures
- Ability to communicate (read, write, and speak) effectively
- Ability to operate hand tools or other pipeline equipment
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a consistent safe work ethic
