Job Summary
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and instrument components using test equipment and hand tools to locate breakdown causes and correct problems. Perform routine maintenance on CNG compressor equipment, including pumps, valves, meters, and rotating units, while inspecting electrical systems to identify hazards and defects. Test electrical continuity using ohmmeters and ensure all station safety devices function properly by reporting failures to the supervisor. Conduct daily walk-around inspections to identify risks and maintain good housekeeping standards, while ensuring vendors adhere to company policies. Respond to emergency and preventative maintenance calls in an organized manner, book travel, track expenses, and document all service actions through forms and logs. Maintain a 24-hour on-call status with a minimum of 40 hours weekly, traveling to other locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- at least 3 years of experience
- Three to five years of industrial maintenance experience
- troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment
- HS Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be able to lift 60lbs
- Must be able to travel to other locations
- 24 Hour on-call status required
- Expected hours no less than 40 per week
- Full-time
Desired Qualifications
- Coursework or certification in electronic technology preferred
- Wide range construction technology knowledge and materials, preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
