Job Summary
Hybrid Operations and Compliance Manager based in Redfern, NSW. Manages end-to-end workforce compliance and HRIS (Employment Hero), leads WHS initiatives, develops workplace policies, and oversees asset and fleet management. Supports a dispersed multi-site workforce, contributes to board-level reporting, and drives continuous improvement. Requires 3+ years in HR/compliance/operations, strong knowledge of Australian employment law and WHS, data integrity skills, and experience with HR systems; emphasizes cultural safety and obtaining Working with Children Check and AFP clearance.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in an HR, compliance, or operations management role
- Hands-on experience managing an HRIS platform (Employment Hero or similar)
- Solid knowledge of Australian employment legislation, WHS regulations, and governance frameworks
- People management experience
- Ability to manage dispersed workforce with calm and sound judgement
- Demonstrated commitment to cultural safety and working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
- Working with Children Check and AFP clearance (or willingness to obtain)
