Operations Analyst Specialist

Job Summary
Analyze demand forecasts, inventory levels, and order patterns to develop optimized production balance and SKU mix strategies. Collaborate with schedulers and planners to recommend schedule adjustments based on resource constraints and material availability. Track key production metrics including throughput, cycle time, and efficiency to generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports and dashboards. Identify trends, anomalies, and root causes of inefficiencies to propose data-driven improvements for production sequencing and line setup. This onsite role in Senatobia supports process improvement teams within the ELSP Division, focusing on Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business analyst, Engineering Management, Data Analyst, or related engineering field
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, production planning, or operations analysis
- Demonstrated experience analyzing production data and identifying efficiency opportunities
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, SKU management, or production scheduling
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to interpret production metrics and manufacturing KPIs
- Data analysis and problem-solving mindset

Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree is a plus
- Python, R, SQL is plus
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or production tracking software
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma principles
