Job Summary
Operations Analyst supports Atlantic broking teams through the policy lifecycle in Howden Private Capital; coordinates with brokers and cross-functional teams to ensure best practices and SLAs are met, reviews policy information against state and insurance-product rules, completes carrier and state surplus lines forms, follows up to satisfy conditions, negotiates NDAs and prepares NDAs (Joinder) and NRLs, ensures data accuracy and QA of system entries, performs KYC checks, and contributes to compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. The role requires collaboration across brokers, operations, finance, legal, and compliance, with on-site presence in NYC and hybrid remote flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience
- 1-5 years’ experience
- General understanding of insurance and surplus lines rules and requirements preferred
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook
