Operations Analyst

Job Summary
The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining operational reporting, dashboards, and measurement systems to drive data-informed decision-making for the COO, with collaboration across Finance and cross-functional teams to automate data flows, track quarterly goals, and deliver recurring and ad-hoc analyses. Responsibilities include creating and evolving scorecards, leading ELT/SLT goal tracking, partnering with Finance on indicators, delivering rapid operational insights, gathering requirements, building formatted reports and visualizations using BI tools, supporting data integration and ETL/ELT processes, maintaining data quality and lineage, and contributing to governance and analytics maturity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Business Analytics, Finance, Operations, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or financial background preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Programmer/Analyst, BI Developer, Report Developer, or Operations Analyst role within an IT, Data, or Finance environment
- Strong experience with data warehousing, data modeling, relational databases (RDBMS), SQL, and BI/reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Demonstrated success building and maintaining executive-level scorecards, operational dashboards, and goal-tracking mechanisms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex operational data into clear insights for senior leadership and Finance partners
- Highly analytical with strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and attention-to-detail skills; proven ability to work independently while driving results in a fast-paced environment
- Experience partnering with Finance or leadership teams and working with financial/operational data as leading indicators is strongly preferred
- Self-starter with high accountability, confidentiality, and professional presence; capable of organizing and prioritizing multiple deliverables
- Familiarity with data automation, ETL/ELT concepts, and agile/spiral methodologies; enthusiasm for learning and applying new technologies
