Operations Analyst

Job Summary
Complete daily reporting, reconciliations, and operational checklists accurately within agreed timeframes. Support client onboarding by reviewing documentation and completing AML/KYC verification checks, while creating and maintaining accurate client and account records across internal systems. Process account closures and deceased estate matters, including probate and will documentation, and liaise with custodians and business partners to resolve queries. Ensure all activities comply with LGT's risk policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and relevant legislation while identifying opportunities to simplify processes and improve operational efficiency. This 12-month fixed term role requires at least two years of operations experience within financial services, a degree in Finance or a related discipline, and strong reconciliation and data-entry skills.
Required Qualifications
- At least two years' operations experience within financial services
- A sound understanding of Australian financial markets
- Experience with client onboarding, account maintenance and AML/KYC requirements
- Strong reconciliation, data-entry and record-management skills, with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A logical and methodical approach to problem-solving
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines without compromising accuracy or service
- A resourceful, resilient and flexible mindset, with a willingness to take a hands-on approach
- A collaborative style and a commitment to contributing positively to the wider team
- A degree in Finance, Business, Commerce or a related discipline
