Job Summary
Process and monitor fixed income and financing transactions, ensuring timely and accurate settlement across multiple investment funds. Perform position, cash, and balance sheet reconciliations while researching and resolving discrepancies. Coordinate with fund administrators, custodians, brokers, and other external partners to address operational issues and oversee corporate action events. Manage expense allocations, accruals, and other fund-level operational accounting functions while facilitating securities transfers and custody-related transactions. Monitor operational controls to ensure data integrity and accurate reporting across investment portfolios. Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and strengthen internal workflows through participation in operational projects and process enhancement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in investment operations, hedge fund operations, structured finance, fixed income, or a similar environment
- Strong understanding of trade settlement and reconciliation processes
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookup functions, and complex formulas
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across internal teams and external service providers
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting fixed income products, financing transactions, or repo activity
- Familiarity with corporate actions and fund operations
- Experience working with fund administrators and institutional custodians
- Exposure to process automation or workflow improvements
- Knowledge of VBA, SQL, or Python
- Experience within alternative investments, credit, structured products, or fixed income strategies
