Job Summary
Support Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams with competitive pricing, in-depth performance analysis, and data-driven insights. Perform costing analysis to develop multi-scenario pricing options and assist in building strategies that analyze volume, profit potential, and market trends. Write SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from internal operational databases, then build custom reports and analytics dashboards using Tableau to present findings to leadership. Conduct thorough investigations of equipment damage incidents, analyze patterns and root causes, and prepare detailed reports with photographic documentation and cost assessments. Review and process damage claims from initial report through full resolution, negotiating settlements and managing vendor relationships. Generate monthly and quarterly damage analysis reports for senior management while developing SOPs to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or insurance industries is an asset.
- Strong analytical skills is preferred.
- Experience with claims management systems and processes.
- Knowledge of commercial vehicle operations and equipment types.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in trucking, freight, or transportation industry.
- Professional certifications in risk management or claims analysis.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and commercial vehicle safety standards.
- Background in fleet management or equipment maintenance.
