Job Summary
Operations, Air Export handles end-to-end shipment processing and coordination of movement for shipments, serving as the primary contact for customers and coordinating with carriers, overseas offices, airlines, warehouses and truckers. Daily duties include managing shipments, tendering with carriers, creating country-specific documents, adhering to domestic/international shipping regulations, tracking shipments, preparing reports, identifying and resolving issues, confirming carrier rates, containing shipment costs, evaluating loads to select cost-effective transport modes, and ensuring KPI targets are met. The role requires strong verbal/written English, customer service orientation, collaboration, problem-solving and multitasking abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and CargoWise. Education in supply chain/logistics or two years of international transportation experience is required or asset considerations include CIFFA certificate, Dangerous Goods certification, and Authorized Cargo Representative (ACR) designation; GDP training may be required. Physical demands include prolonged desk work with occasional overtime. Safe, compliant operations and adherence to quality, health, safety and environmental policies are emphasized.
Required Qualifications
