Job Summary
Coordinate the acceptance, processing, and dispatch of air cargo shipments; monitor flight schedules to ensure timely loading and unloading of cargo; oversee the safe handling, loading, unloading, and storage of cargo; update shipment tracking systems with real-time status; maintain accurate records of cargo movements and regulatory documents; verify air waybills, manifests, and paperwork for accuracy and compliance; liaise with partner airlines and authorities to ensure inspections and interline coordination; conduct cargo inspections and initiate corrective actions as needed; ensure cargo handling aligns with airline policies, airport regulations, and safety procedures; respond to operational disruptions and inquiries; availability to work weekends, nights, and holidays; no supervisory responsibilities. The role requires a high school level education with aviation/cargo-related certification preferred, and fluency in English and Spanish is advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; aviation/cargo-related certification preferred
- Basic understanding of air cargo operations, logistics, and supply chain management
- Familiarity with cargo management systems and office software
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent English and Spanish preferred
- Availability to work weekends, nights, and holidays when necessary
