Job Summary
Coordinate day-to-day import/export of international freight shipments across air, road, and sea modes based on customer requests. Work with clients to qualify shipping requirements, obtain necessary documentation, and prepare accurate quotations and waybills. Accept bookings, handle cross-trade shipments, and provide creative transport solutions when obstacles arise. Maintain contact with warehouses, carriers, and shipping agents while ensuring SOP adherence, regulatory compliance, and timely billing. Execute dangerous goods shipments in full compliance with applicable laws. Contribute to a secure work environment by reporting safety conditions.
Required Qualifications
- MBO / HBO education level
- Fluent Dutch and English
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience (logistics field)
- Familiarity with logistics, customs, and relevant legislation
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving attitude
- Flexible and eager to learn
- Willingness to take courses or follow trainings as required
Desired Qualifications
- Strong PC skills (Windows, Microsoft Office applications)
- Cargo Wise Software experience
- ITAR, Dangerous Goods or TSA work experience / regulations
