Job Summary

Review and determine staffing needs, salary guidelines, and labor agreement interpretations for exempt and non-exempt staff across functional departments. Manage administrative support, technology inventory, and system requirements while developing budgets, financial forecasts, and actual versus budgeted performance reports. Coordinate training sessions for new policies, ensure compliance with University and federal regulations, and assess recommendations regarding staff development and staffing levels. Monitor user requirements through surveys and competitive analysis to execute systematic research. Manage a staff of exempt and non-exempt employees while performing other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Knowledge and understanding of technology to support healthcare operations, including, but not limited to, database design, logic and optimization to meet business needs
  • Considerable knowledge of medical office operations, professional fee billing and third party reimbursement methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability with managed care companies
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
  • Working knowledge of medical coding, regulatory bodies and billing compliance (i.e. HIPAA,NCQA)
  • Demonstrated ability with ANSI standard for EDI transaction sets
  • Ability to communicate information effectively, both oral and written and work effectively as a team member
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • 5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • Background screening for motor vehicle, DOT certification, drug testing and credit checks

Desired Qualifications

  • (AAPC) CPC certification
