Job Summary
Operations Administrator signs drivers in and out, verifies and maintains records on inbound/outbound shipments, and prepares Bills of Lading while performing data-entry and document-management tasks. Duties include creating Bills of Lading, assisting drivers with delivery and order information, verifying shipping details meet specifications, data entry of shipping orders (UPS, LTL), scanning and organizing electronic documents, updating the NCS system (Revenova), updating freight status in the WMS, reconciling inbound BOLs with shipper orders, producing outbound paperwork, and distributing paperwork to carriers. Requires high attention to detail, scheduling flexibility, basic computer and Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to communicate via email and phone. Familiarity with dock operations, pallets, manifests, and invoicing/receiving procedures is expected, with a focus on maintaining safety and organization in a warehouse setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to self-manage and be organized
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Effective written and verbal communication via email and phone
- Basic understanding of Bills of Lading and shipping documentation
- Experience with data entry for shipping orders (UPS, LTL)
- Familiarity with WMS systems and dock operations
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to work flexible schedule including overtime
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment
