Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in nursing; Master’s degree preferred
- Five years hospital nursing experience with progressive leadership (charge nurse responsibilities)
- RN - Texas state licensure; Texas Board of Nursing PSV compact licensure; permanent Texas license within 60 days if establishing residency
- BLS - Basic Life Support or Instructor (AHA)
- NVCRISIS - Nonviolent Crisis Intervention or Instructor (CPI) within 90 days
- Magnet-ANCC recognized certification (HM) within 1 year
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to lead in fast-paced environment; interdepartmental collaboration; policy interpretation and implementation
