Job Summary
Operations Accounting Supervisor responsible for maintaining detailed costs in the ERP, setting up and analyzing standard costs, reconciling daily variances, and supporting manufacturing and sales growth. Leads cost analyses (operational, logistics, and purchase price variances), collaborates with production, engineering, and R&D on product costing estimates, and oversees month-end close, fixed assets, and inventory controls. Supports financial reporting, audits, cycle counts, and KPI design, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency. Supervises one direct report and works with cross-functional teams to ensure COgs accuracy, asset management, and overall process improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
- At least 3 years of working experience in a manufacturing or costing environment
- GAAP knowledge
- Costing methodology knowledge
- Ability to perform operational, account, cost, and variance analyses
- Strong Excel, ERP, and software skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Self-driven with motivation to grow
- Ability to collaborate with Inventory Process Improvement team, production and warehouse employees
