Job Summary
Manage collection efforts for assigned client portfolios by conducting debtor follow-ups on past due invoices, monitoring aging reports, and prioritizing activities based on payment terms. Oversee payment processing by reviewing incoming funds, ensuring accurate application, and resolving misapplied payments or posting exceptions. Monitor account aging and concentration risks to support management of at-risk balances while maintaining accurate documentation for compliance. Track disputed invoices, coordinate resolution with clients, and escalate unresolved issues to facilitate recovery on delinquent balances. Partner with Account Executives to review portfolio health, share risk concerns, and provide back office operational support. This role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in customer service and collection, with an hourly range of $23.75-$33.25.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field is preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a customer service role is required
Desired Qualifications
- Equivalent experience will also be considered in lieu of degree
- Previous account resolution/collection, customer service, handling escalations, and problem-solving experience is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of the transportation industry is also a plus
