Job Summary
Operational Training Specialist responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining and supporting simulation components of training programs. Delivers simulation via pseudo pilot positions and supports Voice Recognition simulation when required. Develops and maintains simulation, performs simulator maintenance, and provides national support as a subject matter expert on procedures, refresher programs, and changes to simulation systems and tools. Responsibilities include coordinating data files for simulators, troubleshooting tools issues, training stakeholders on simulation tools, and providing oversight for the Supervisor. Key knowledge areas include aircraft operating characteristics, airspace organization, and familiarity with NAV CANADA systems, SharePoint/Workday/Teams, and Microsoft Office suite. The role requires the ability to work independently or collaboratively, adapt to new technology, and demonstrate leadership and judgment, with occasional travel and a Monday-to-Friday schedule onsite.
