Job Summary
Operate, configure, and maintain Distribution Management System (DMS), SCADA, and Outage Management System (OMS) OT platforms supporting safe, reliable grid operations for DP&L and IPL. Responsibilities include configuring OT systems, developing ADMS data models, supporting advanced applications (DPF, FLISR, VVC), integrating GIS data, supporting daily OT operations for T&D teams, troubleshooting, cross-functional collaboration, documentation of architectures, testing and deploying system updates, ensuring regulatory compliance, participating in on-call rotation, and coordinating with vendors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred ABET-accredited institution)
- 1–3 years of relevant experience (internships or academic projects in power systems or OT are a plus)
- Basic understanding of power systems, SCADA, or industrial control systems
- Foundational knowledge of hardware, software, and networking concepts
- Interest in learning about real-time T&D control systems and OT environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and learn from senior engineers
