Job Summary
Operational Services Officer accountable for providing essential administrative and operational support to the Asphalt & Products operational line, including inputting financial and operational data into the ERP (invoicing, procurement, inventory, month-end activities), processing transactions (accounts payable, cost allocation, purchase orders, supplier/subcontractor payments), and ensuring timely billing and data integrity. The role includes coordinating office operations, meetings, travel arrangements, staff onboarding/offboarding, and contributing to financial performance reviews while adhering to Downer policies and procedures. Requires 3+ years in administration, experience with SAP/JDE, strong Excel and MS Office skills, and a thorough, accurate approach to data entry and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an administration role
- Experience with ERP software (SAP or JDE preferred)
- Proficient in MS Office 365 applications
- Strong data entry accuracy and document preparation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
