Operational Site Lead

Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day execution of onsite scientific support objectives at customer facilities in Nijmegen, supervising a team of scientists and support associates to ensure productivity and delivery of high-level services. Set operational priorities, review completed work, and provide feedback to accomplish plans while resolving customer issues through data analysis. Manage overall program performance via operational reviews, KPI tracking, and reporting, coordinating staffing, recruitment, and resource planning. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, implement new services, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards including GLP and GxP regulations. Facilitate communication with external customers and internal teams to foster alignment with broader scientific support services initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline
- Equivalent relevant industry experience
- Proven people management experience, including recruitment, performance management, coaching, and employee development
- Experience creating safety and operational documentation, including work instructions, risk assessments, and COSHH documentation
- Knowledge of GLP, GxP regulations, and audit requirements
- Experience with inventory and stock management systems and methodologies such as Kanban
- Strong data capture, analysis, and reporting skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Advanced proficiency in other business systems
- Experience working within laboratory, scientific, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to build strong customer relationships
- Strong project management capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
