Job Summary
Operational Risk Management Lead for JPMorgan Chase CCOR (Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk) at Vice President level. Oversees implementation and functioning of the CCOR Framework within Corporate Functions, provides independent challenge and oversight of changes to processes, risks and controls, supports regulatory reviews and audits, and partners with Risk Management to strengthen the firm’s control environment. Requires deep knowledge of financial risk areas (financial reporting, data risk, credit risk, market risk, capital risk, employee compliance), familiarity with regulatory standards and audit practices, and strong communication and analytic skills. Based in Bengaluru, India (office-based), with 12+ years in financial services risk roles and a Bachelor’s degree floor. Proficiency in data analytics, regulatory reporting (CECL, CCAR, Reg K, Reg W), and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 12 years of financial services industry experience
- 5+ years of experience in risk management specific functions e.g., Financial Reporting, Data Risk, model risk/credit risk/market risk or their control functions such as compliance and/or operational risk management
- Good working knowledge of financial products across different asset classes, key credit terms and regulatory reporting processes e.g. CECL, CCAR, Reg K, Reg W.
- Excellent research, analysis, written and interpersonal and communication skills; must have ability to adjust communication style for a variety of situations and be able to defend your stance, as needed
- Ability to analyze complex data materials and structures and simplify findings for clear understanding
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Understanding of the uses and application of data analytics and generative AI and LLM
