Job Summary
Drive tactical lean projects aligned with Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost Objectives using Lean tools and techniques. Analyze processes, map workflows, and implement strategies to eliminate waste while facilitating Kaizen events to address systemic problems. Lead focused teams through continuous improvement initiatives and provide training on Lean operations and kaizen leadership. Oversee operational suppliers to improve pricing, service quality, and SLAs, and implement balanced scorecard metrics for the designated scope. Represent the operation in Global Engineering meetings to assess local impacts and support leadership in Lean transformation planning. Generate significant ROI through value creation and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Industrial Engineering or related discipline
- Three or more years in fast paced, high volume distribution environment working in quality, statistics, continuous improvement / Lean
- High system and transactional knowledge of total ALC
- Experience in consultative approach, problem solving, training, facilitation, change management
- Good knowledge of English, with the ability to communicate effectively in an international business environment
- Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate situations, identify potential risks or opportunities in advance, and take timely action
- Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Desired Qualifications
- Equivalent work experience in warehouse / distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environment
- Experience leading visual daily management, Gemba
- Moderate Kaizen facilitation experience
- Value-stream mapping experience
- Knowledge of WMS (IMFirst)
- Experience in Lean Leader global community
