Job Summary
Operational Performance Tech Lead coordinates cross-functional teams to implement data-driven manufacturing use cases using enterprise data lake and platforms like PI, IP21, and IP Plus. Acts as SPOC for technical aspects of operational performance platforms, governs analytics use cases, ensures data availability and quality, aligns digital strategy with site-level needs, and communicates risks and value to senior stakeholders. Requires engineering/IT/Data Science background, 7+ years in manufacturing, experience with data platforms and dashboards (Microsoft Fabric/Power BI), and strong stakeholder management in global/matrix environments. Hybrid role based in Lisbon, Portugal.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Process, Industrial preferred), Data Science, IT, or related field
- At least 7 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial environments (chemical industry preferred)
- Proven experience in project/program management within complex, cross-functional settings
- Strong knowledge of industrial data systems (PI, IP21)
- Data platforms / data lakes
- Data-driven performance improvement approaches
- Fluency in English
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management capabilities
- Clear communication across technical and non-technical audiences
- Structured problem-solving and prioritization
- Results-oriented mindset with focus on value delivery
