Job Summary
Lead the Bearings, Seals, & Hydraulics Division Euclid team as a Front Line Product Leader, serving as the liaison between Machinists, scheduling, and Operations. Conduct daily shop floor supervision by teaching, coaching, and training Machinists and Programmers while promoting and reinforcing safety and quality standards. Manage daily work flow, coordinate work schedules including time off and overtime, and support job preparation needs. Coordinate machine maintenance equipment and interface with outsource shop support for Nitride, EDM, and grinding. Coordinate shipping schedules based on monthly production plans and provide feedback on shop schedule and quoting to the Manufacturing Manager. Apply mathematical concepts and project management skills to track core goals and interpret technical data. Work extended hours as needed in an industrial setting, adhering to strict safety procedures and handling tasks involving toxic chemicals or loud environments.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years related experience in machining or manufacturing environment or combination of education and
- Experience with machining, programming (M&G code), and Cam software (Gibbs)
- High Temperature alloy experience
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical data
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and members of the business community
- Ability to professionally communicate (verbal & written) with all members of the workforce
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts for elements of supervisory oversight to machinist and assistance in planning/tracking of core goals to the manufacturing manager
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Time & project management regarding workflow/scheduling through business objectives
- Knowledge of MS Office packages; e-mail; presentations; flow charts, etc.
- ERP System (EPICOR) & Project Management skills
- Prioritizes safety and ensures all EHS procedures align with company values

Desired Qualifications
