Job Summary
Lead the deployment of continuous improvement projects aligned with NBS Next initiatives and mentor across all levels of the ICS organization to develop hands-on coaching and a culture of continuous improvement. Define, execute, and lead short- and long-term CI strategy for ICS Business, standardize practices globally, and drive CI initiatives to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity, and Cost (SQDIPC) while identifying and prioritizing cost-saving initiatives. Represent ICS on the Nordson Global Continuous Improvement Steering Committee; travel approximately 20% to support domestic and international sites. Proficiency in Lean, process mapping (SIPOC), project planning, and data-driven problem solving; strong collaboration, communication, and leadership skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or relevant degree is preferred; 12 years of relevant experience is required in lieu of a degree
- 4-6 years of progressive continuous improvement experience
- Proficiency in Lean thinking with application in both operations and transactional environments
- Change management/transformational experience
- Experience leading process mapping sessions via SIPOC or comparable processes
- Experience building and tracking projects with a detailed project plan
- Travel Required Estimated 20% Domestic and International
