Job Summary
Lead cross-functional teams through operational improvement initiatives to drive efficiencies, quality standards, and safety results. Implement strategies defined in the Manufacturing Play Book and Honickman Management Operating System to respond to performance drivers and challenges. Manage key performance indicators and execute daily management to enhance safety and achieve year-over-year productivity gains. Oversee advanced process improvement activities using lean principles and systems thinking to identify complex interrelated processes. Partner with local leadership to address root causes and develop sustainment/control plans for solutions. Develop and implement training programs to build OPEX knowledge and skill sets for manufacturing leaders. Act as an advisor to operational leaders to ensure initiatives align with organizational objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations or Business Management or related field
- 3-5 years of Lean/CI/Opex experience
- demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the CI, Quality and Safety functions
- Prior experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Site-to-Site Travel Required
