Job Summary
Analyze operational flows, processes, and organizational structures to identify improvement opportunities. Optimize existing processes using Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies such as DMAIC, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, and Kaizen. Lead and implement Kaizen events, guide stakeholders in introducing new working methods, and manage KPIs to ensure the sustainability of realized improvements. Take an active role in strategic operational projects, specifically large-scale automation initiatives, by translating business needs into feasible process and automation solutions. Manage the Lean roadmap and embed improvement initiatives locally with a focus on ownership and result-orientation. This role supports change management processes to successfully implement improvements within the European Distribution Center in Tessenderlo, Belgium, for Stanley Black & Decker.
Required Qualifications
- demonstrable experience in Operational Excellence, Lean and Continuous Improvement within an industrial environment
- thorough knowledge of Lean methodologies
- practical experience with Continuous Improvement tools
- knowledge of the Toyota Production System (TPS)
- an excellent knowledge of Dutch
- a good knowledge of English
