Operational Excellence Manager

Job Summary
Responsible for communications around Excellence processes and results across site; Leading and coaching teams to conduct ‘narrow and deep’ interventions to reduce cost using Excellence tools & techniques; Leading Excellence training courses across the site and other pladis sites; Coaching Green and Orange belt candidates in project delivery on site and certification; Owning the annual pipeline of improvement projects delivering the site’s financial improvement targets; Submitting Capex-related projects to improve plant efficiency; Playing a key role in the Site Leadership team to align site strategy with business growth; Travel to other sites as required to support benchmarking and delivery of Excellence initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Motivated and passionate about Continuous Improvement (CI)
- Strong understanding of Excellence tools & techniques within CI & Leadership elements
- Track record of operating in a Manufacturing / Supply Chain CI culture
- Lean six sigma qualifications (green belt preferable)
- Coaching toolkit and knowledge
- Effective Project Management
