Job Summary
Operational Excellence Manager responsible for leading site-wide process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and DMAIC methodologies. Partners with Site Leadership Team and Asset Leadership Team to drive transformations, develop performance measurements and process control plans, and mentor the Asset Leadership Team in LBMS principles. Builds compelling business cases, secures resources, tracks milestones, and proactively resolves barriers to ensure on-time delivery. Focuses on improving Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation, and People through rigorous execution and cultural change across the site and assets. Fully site-based in Vacaville, CA.
Required Qualifications
- B.S./B.A in Science or Engineering
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or equivalent level of experience
- Experience leading LSS projects with detailed project plans
- Proven facilitator with coaching and leadership abilities
- Experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry desirable but not required
