Job Summary
Lead Kaizen events and cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives by applying Lean principles to drive waste reduction and process efficiency. Implement PFEP, 5S, standard work, and visual controls; develop Lean capabilities across teams; optimize material flow and inventory; lead Tugger/Water Spider routes and flow planning for Logistics; identify improvement opportunities through data analysis and observations; drive labor productivity and variable cost improvements; participate in root-cause problem solving and implement corrective actions; track progress using KPIs. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, 4+ years in Lean/Operational Excellence in manufacturing, and the ability to work extended hours across multiple shifts; preferred Six Sigma Green Belt and hands-on willingness to build and reconfigure processes and work cells.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 4+ Years Lean / Operational Excellence experience in a manufacturing environment
- Advanced level experience with Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated ability to lead improvement activities with limited supervision
- Effective communication skills to support and influence team members
