Job Summary
Lead Operational Excellence on the night shift by coaching technicians and leaders in standard work, root-cause problem solving, and daily management systems. Maintain a strong floor presence to observe practices, provide real-time feedback, reinforce safe operating procedures, and drive accountable, continuous improvements across shifts. Develop and maintain training materials (One Point Lessons), support onboarding and cross-training, and collaborate with supervisors to strengthen coaching effectiveness and leadership presence while promoting equipment ownership and a culture of ownership, accountability, and proactive problem resolution.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in manufacturing, maintenance, operations, or technical training
- Proven track record of coaching, mentoring, and developing others in a work environment
- Ability to work primarily night shift with flexibility for day shift activities and training events
- Experience in manufacturing leadership, reliability, or continuous improvement roles
- Familiarity with Operational Excellence, TPM, Lean, or similar systems
- Experience developing training materials and One Point Lessons
- Knowledge of equipment ownership practices
- Experience in paper, tissue, converting, packaging, or continuous manufacturing operations
