Operational Excellence Engineer

Job Summary
Lead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives across the site by applying tools such as A3, root cause analysis, 5S, visual management, flow, and pull systems. Drive process standardization and sustain daily management systems including KPIs, visual controls, and routines. Facilitate kaizen events, value stream mapping, and cross-functional workshops while partnering with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and EHS teams. Train and mentor employees on Lean principles and problem-solving methods to support change management and sustain operational improvements. Track and communicate performance metrics and improvement results to the Plant Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of manufacturing, operations, engineering, or continuous improvement experience
- Strong experience with Lean methodologies and structured problem-solving
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to influence teams and work closely with operations
- Proficient in Excel
Desired Qualifications
- Power BI experience is a plus
