Required Qualifications
- Requires B.S. in Engineering (Chemical or Environmental preferred)
- 5 years of engineering experience in refining or chemical processing facility preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of OSHA's Process Safety Management (PSM) standard
- Knowledge of EPA's Risk Management Program (RMP) standard
- Knowledge of OSHA's industry accepted safe work practices
- Experience leading incident investigations using applicable methodology
- Knowledge of OSHA and other safety related regulations and best practices
- Knowledge of EOS, DOT and USCG regulations
- Knowledge of refining/petrochemical related federal emissions standards
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work well with others
- High proficiency or ability to learn computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, database programs
