Required Qualifications

  • Requires B.S. in Engineering (Chemical or Environmental preferred)
  • 5 years of engineering experience in refining or chemical processing facility preferred

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of OSHA's Process Safety Management (PSM) standard
  • Knowledge of EPA's Risk Management Program (RMP) standard
  • Knowledge of OSHA's industry accepted safe work practices
  • Experience leading incident investigations using applicable methodology
  • Knowledge of OSHA and other safety related regulations and best practices
  • Knowledge of EOS, DOT and USCG regulations
  • Knowledge of refining/petrochemical related federal emissions standards
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to work well with others
  • High proficiency or ability to learn computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, database programs
