Job Summary
Lead and assist with initial and ongoing third party manager and sub advisor operational due diligence reviews, including document reviews, participation in Ops DD meetings, and producing reports. Manage media monitoring and background check processes for third party managers and sub advisors. Plan and facilitate activities for third party managers and sub advisors as directed by Senior Ops DD team members. Provide timely responses to inquiries and outreach to third party managers, sub-advisors, and internal cross functional teams. Liaise with Global Funds Management, Investment Research, Legal, Compliance and Product Management on various matters. Review Due Diligence Questionnaire responses and escalate items of concern to Senior Ops DD team members. Must demonstrate initiative, be able to perform well under pressure, and handle multiple assignments while meeting client and stakeholder deliverables. Understanding of technology (e.g., industry platforms, data tools, portals, workflow, automation). Education/Qualifications: 2-5 years in third party manager operational due diligence; CPA or professional qualification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in third party manager operational due diligence
- Knowledge of investment vehicles, operations and controls
- Willingness to travel approximately 15%
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to liaise with internal cross-functional teams
- Initiative and ability to perform under pressure while managing multiple assignments
- Familiarity with technology, data tools, and workflow automation
