Operational Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Summary
Monitor cybersecurity services and business solutions by assessing security events, processing alerts, and performing required escalations. Carry out operational activities including certificate management, analyzing network access exception requests, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity best practices. Evaluate risks associated with changes, identify vulnerabilities through automated tools and manual analysis, and validate security configurations. Participate in security incident investigations, produce technical opinions and reports, and prepare monthly progress reports. Collaborate through workshops and follow-up meetings to recommend preventive actions and maintain acceptable risk thresholds.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in French
- College diploma (DEC) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Administration, or Science
- Attestation of College Studies (AEC) in a relevant field combined with four (4) years of relevant experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Technology acquired within the last 10 years
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Information Security or Cybersecurity acquired within the last 6 years
- Must have completed, in Quebec, at least one assignment exceeding 220 person-days within an organization of more than 2,000 employees
- At least one recognized cybersecurity certification from: ISC2, EC-Council, Offensive Security, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, SANS Institute, Microsoft, AWS
