Operational Buyer responsible for sourcing and supplier management for Facility Management & Energy spend below 100KEUR requested by the user department of ZJG. Manages the sourcing process across assigned commodities codes, drives regional strategies to achieve budget, cost reduction, and competitive sourcing targets. Coordinates and benchmarks best practices and suppliers; initiates and evaluates quotations to determine the most cost-effective sources. Recommends cost-saving proposals including make-versus-buy analyses, alternate sourcing, and vendor evaluation criteria. Manages the supplier base including creation or renewal of contracts, purchase orders or agreements; conducts supplier assessments for potential new suppliers. Supports maintaining the regional approved supplier list as part of the NPM strategy and monitors supplier performance. Maintains all records and documentation of RFQs, purchase orders, cost-reduction reporting, and other daily transactions in accordance with ZF policies and procedures. Requires 5+ years in Purchasing/Operations/Project Management, familiarity with purchasing processes, contracts negotiation, supplier management, data analysis, quick learning, strong decision-making, and teamwork.
