Job Summary
Operational Analyst to support the U.S. Army’s Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE) G-3 at Fort Benning, GA. Responsible for coordinating and synchronizing the G-3 calendar, leading weekly meetings, preparing and publishing command briefs and orders, and applying the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP) to strategic planning and operational tasks. Requires strong communication, planning, and organizational skills; proficiency with MS Office; understanding of military protocol; active Secret Clearance; and a degree in business/management disciplines (or equivalent experience). The role involves frequent meetings, coordination of high-level visits, and liaising with command staff at multiple echelons.
Required Qualifications
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products
- Strong communications skills (oral and written)
- Working knowledge / understanding of military protocol / chain of command
- Degree in General Business, Management, or Business Psychology, Organizational Management, Business Processes, (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in operations, short and long-term planning or strategic analysis
- Experience in creative thinking
- Experience and understanding of written communication commensurate with a Master’s Degree Program level of both written and oral communications and experience with communicating at the Garrison or echelon at or above Brigade level
- Must have an in-depth understanding of the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP) as outlined in ADRP 5-0
- Former Senior NCO or Officer with MDMP experience at the Battalion and above level preferred
- Clearance: Active Secret Clearance is Required
- Location: Fort Benning, GA
- Travel: Some Travel will be required
