Job Summary
Monitor scheduled jobs and batch processing across core banking systems while performing routine system checks to ensure availability and accuracy. Serve as the first point of contact for internal employees, conducting initial troubleshooting for access problems and common application errors. Maintain operational logs, runbooks, and daily checklists in alignment with audit and compliance standards. Review existing IT procedures and knowledge base articles for accuracy, updating documentation to reflect current workflows and bank documentation standards. Create and document tickets with clear details for escalation to support teams. Provide basic guidance on bank-approved software and security practices.
Required Qualifications
- Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and common business applications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures
- Clear communication skills and a customer-service mindset
- Ability to learn banking systems, security requirements, and operational processes
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to talk or hear
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, and climb stairs

Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certification
- Experience with IT ticketing systems (ServiceNow, ServiceDesk, Jira, etc.)
- Exposure to batch-processing or mainframe environments
- Exposure to banking software (Fiserv, Finastra, FIS, etc.)
- Familiarity with ITIL concepts or service-management frameworks
- Interest in automation, scripting, or process improvement
