Job Summary
Operation Technician I responsible for in-home fiber network installation and maintenance, educating customers on products/services, troubleshooting and configuring wireless/networking equipment, pulling fiber through conduit, basic splicing, and physical tasks (lift 50 lbs, ladder). Must maintain a clean driving record, pass drug test, understand ISP services, and collaborate with others while maintaining time-conscious service at customer sites. Role emphasizes front-facing customer interaction and hands-on technical duties to ensure quality service and foundation network understanding.
Required Qualifications
- Must have clean driving record

- Understanding a fiber network
- Working computer knowledge
- Understanding and interpreting plant maps
- Telecommunications wiring color-code competency
- Program and troubleshoot wireless and networking equipment for each customer
- Understanding home networks
- Pulling fiber through conduit
- Basic fiber splicing
- Digging when needed for placement of drop cables
- Lift 50 lbs and have the ability to handle a tall extension ladder.
