Job Summary
Manage calendars, direct incoming calls, and receive visitors for division-level administrative support. Track and compile information to prepare reports and correspondence per U.S. Army Regulation 25-50, while updating division rosters and personnel directories for transfers and new hires. Schedule meetings, arrange conference calls, and handle purchase requests, work orders, and office supply procurement. Enter Department of the Army Civilian time into ATAAPS and assist with DAC transfers, promotion packets, and award submissions. Monitor official travel status and serve as Division-level Key Control Custodian and Redstone Arsenal Visitor Sponsor Program privileged user. Requires DoD Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and two years of administrative support experience.
Required Qualifications
- Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance, or the ability to obtain one
- U.S. Citizenship
- High school diploma
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience providing administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings
- Ability to obtain and maintain an interim DoD Secret Clearance and full clearance at the completion of the government's process
Desired Qualifications
- Prior military organization employment as military or civilian, and corresponding understanding of military headquarters staff organization, roles, and relationships
- Minimum of an active DoD Secret Clearance
