Job Summary
Executive Director of Hong Kong Operation Services Delivery leads transformation initiatives within the Fund Services Operations team to implement the target operating model, drive execution of the operations strategy, strengthen controls, oversee multiple Operations teams, and manage client-facing groups to ensure SLA performance and successful onboarding/retention of clients. The role collaborates with the Global Operation Transformation and Leadership to deliver KPI-driven reporting, process improvements, and change management across two high-performing operations functions, while promoting staff development and a market-leading client experience. Responsibilities include guiding project teams, managing system upgrades and organizational restructurings with minimal disruption, fostering a customer-centric culture, ensuring consistent operational processes with senior stakeholders, and driving innovation and modernization of fund services operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines
- At least 15 years of experience in fund administration, financial reporting, fund accounting, and/or auditing related roles
- Strong understanding of fund services operations, including fund accounting, financial reporting, transfer agency, and alternative investments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their best
- A team player who is flexible and can maintain both a positive attitude and high level of performance in demanding/ time-sensitive initiatives
- Possess intellectual curiosity, resourcefulness, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to synthesize large amounts of information and propose recommendation
- Experience in developing and implementation of transformation.
- Demonstrated success in developing business strategy to deliver business outcomes.
- Preferred qualifications include: Develop other leaders that will report to you by setting objectives and building career pathways, able to manage difficult conversations and be comfortable with performance management when required, preferably qualified Chartered Accountant/Master of Business Administration
- Experience working in a high growth team, start-up environment, adaptable, agile in approach and able to work in a constantly evolving business
