Operation Room RN

Conduct direct patient care in the operating room by scrubbing and circulating surgical procedures independently while implementing pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative plans of care. Supervise care rendered by other staff, maintain aseptic equipment standards, and document nursing interventions using Deliverex, DHCP, and GUI. Provide family teaching, assist in resident orientation, and complete quality improvement documentation and patient safety reporting. Work full-time in a surgical setting at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System, reporting to the Chief of Service or Nurse Executive.
