Operation & Maintenance Technician (Perak)

Job Summary
Conduct routine inspections and corrective maintenance on solar PV systems, including DC and LV components. Attend to electrical breakdowns, initiate fault diagnosis, and execute corrective actions while ensuring compliance with regulations. Supervise contractor works and perform QA & QC inspections during project execution. Establish and maintain proper documentation, including inspection and preventive maintenance reports, and manage spare parts and tool inventory. Provide warranty claim reports for inverters, modules, and data loggers. Manage assigned company vehicle and support O&M works across the Southern region as instructed.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of working experience in an environment involving operation and controlling low voltage electrical equipment
- sufficient knowledge and skills in wiring for LV installation
- Extensive knowledge on electrical theory and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and reporting skills
- sufficient knowledge of the Electricity Supply Act 1990 and its regulations
- valid Chargeman A0/A1 certificate from Energy Commission (ST) or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Good in computer literate
- Customer oriented, independent, and good interpersonal skills
- valid driving license D
- Good communication in both Bahasa Malaysia and English (verbally as well as written)
- Physically and mentally strong and fit
- Able to work on weekends and public holidays if required

- GDL will be advantages
