Job Summary
Operating Technician responsible for ensuring accurate production and inspection of mechanical forging products, loading and organizing products per Loader SOP, reporting safety/quality defects, recording quality data, meeting cycle times, and adhering to SOPs and KAAP safety/quality goals; role requires reading/writing basic English, following instructions, lifting up to 50 lbs, standing 12 hours, and collaborating with production and quality teams on continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write information on production and quality reports
- Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- Ability to solve practical problems and handle a variety of concrete variables
- Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to read and comprehend basic English
- Ability to follow instructions
