Job Summary
Coordinate production activities to achieve operational targets and lead crews to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient performance at the Portland Smelter. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement while coaching team members to build capability. Facilitate team communication and engagement forums, provide technical support and problem-solving, and ensure compliance requirements are met. This shift-based leadership role focuses on driving operational excellence within our aluminium production environment.
Required Qualifications
- Collaborative leader with strong coaching and team development skills
- Strong communication and influencing skills to build relationships at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to make decisions and work with autonomy
- Ability to identify continuous improvements opportunities in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent safety leadership, with a commitment to maintaining a strong health and safety culture
- Experience in working within a production environment where you have gained a comprehensive knowledge of process/production operational activities
