Job Summary
Provide personal care and health teaching under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to meet patient and family needs. Observe and practice sterile technique, maintain asepsis, and anticipate the surgeon's needs as a team member. Actively participate in patient care and safety while utilizing OR supplies conservatively. Requires high school diploma, NYS Surgical Technologist certification, and CPR certification within three months of hire. Full-time and part-time shifts available at Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Meets the NYS Surgical Technologist Certification Law
- Completed a Surgical Technologist program in the Armed Forces
- Completed a nationally accredited educational program for Surgical Technologist with a nationally accredited Surgical Technologist credential
- CPR Certification within 3 months of hire
