Job Summary
Prepare and maintain the operating room environment while assisting with peri-operative patient care. Work closely with surgeons and nurses to ensure smooth, efficient function of the OR, utilizing strong sterile techniques in a fast-paced setting. Perform duties during a 36-hour rotating evening shift.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program
- Current Surgical Technologist Certification
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience as a surgical technologist in an acute care setting
- Basic Life Support (BSLS)
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree
- 4 years' experience as Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting
- Committee and leadership experience
